AMBASSADOR GUIDELINES - Please Read!

By submitting this application, I agree that I have read and accepted the Ambassador Guidelines and it is my intention to work within those guidelines at all times when participating as an Ambassador for Moms Helping Moms efforts.

We are pleased that you are willing to help your neighbors as an Ambassador for Moms Helping Moms, joining our efforts to provide the best possible assistance on-site in an emergency or as an organizing Ambassador in your local community. Emergency events can be very stressful and reactions may need to be fast paced. We need to establish Guidelines so everyone is clear about our commitment and to make sure that we all work together as a unified team. You are valuable and indispensable to our endeavor and we want to make sure that your efforts are successful on behalf of those in need. We know these are common sense Guidelines and are in accordance with your intention as you volunteer. We know you understand that we need to express these Guidelines in writing and thank you for your kind consideration.

1. All Ambassadors will work in a professional and cooperative manner, taking direction from local authorities and emergency coordinators with a willing attitude. Special attention will be made to ensure that language or physical actions will in no way reflect negatively on Moms Helping Moms or local authorities.

2. Ambassadors understand that all donations are for the exclusive relief of victims and those in need. Ambassadors will never use items for personal benefit.

3. Ambassadors will understand their physical and emotional capabilities and never endanger themselves or work in any capacity that may be beyond their ability. Ambassadors understand that they work at their own risk, providing their own insurance. Moms Helping Moms or other local authorities cannot be responsible in any way for actions taken or unexpected results experienced by Ambassadors.

4. Ambassadors will never accept tips, gratuities, or goods of any kind from any victim or donor while working on behalf of Moms Helping Moms.

5. Ambassadors will never offer or solicit work for payment or barter of any kind from victims or other persons in any emergency event.

6. Ambassadors will keep accurate records of donations received and distributed when this is a part of their volunteer responsibility, understanding that an exact report of all assistance received and distributed is a significant element in our accountability to donors.

7. Ambassadors will read all additional guidelines and literature provided for instruction as determined by those in charge for the most expedient and successful result in any specific event and will follow the guidelines with good attitude.
